FINBANK s.a. is seeking to recruit an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Head of Credit to lead the Bank’s Credit Risk Management.

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee development, implementation and updating of the Bank's Credit risk management framework and processes for identification, controlling, managing and reporting credit risk.
  • Establish appropriate framework for the management of credit portfolio to ensure that the Bank's exposure to credit loss is maintained at minimum levels.
  • Review and update the Bank's Credit Risk Policies and Procedures; ensure consistent collateral cover to secure the Bank's position.
  • Review credit facility and analyse the risk of credit related to the facility
  • Review all transactions related to credit facility in the system to check if conditions and terms are met and correctly recorded; analyse compliance levels on global credit position vis a vis various market segments, identify issues arising and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Prepare periodic reports to Central Bank and other reports as required by the Bank Establish and implement responsive framework and strategies for timely identification and management of credit delinquencies; monitor regularly credit portfolio to minimize loss and ensure early alert about the accounts that show decline or potential for decline in performance.
  • Establish appropriate credit administration framework to ensure proper administration of the credit exposure and creation of credit risks to minimize risk of loss.
  • Authorize/approve facility applications as required after obtaining requisite approval authority when required.
  1. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in credit in a banking environment with 3 years' experience in a managerial position
