FINBANK S.A. is looking for a self- motivated, qualified candidate with the right attitude and a passion for IT job to join our team in the following position:
IT support center Officer
IT support / helpdesk Officer helps resolve customers’ technical problems via email, phone call, social media and in person. The candidate works in-house (within the bank) providing support and services to bank staff.
Typical duties include:
- Logging employee queries and processing support calls;
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners;
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades;
- Setting up and managing accounts for staff that join, quit or take leaves and ensuring that they know how to log in, log out and change their credentials;
- Solving password problems and any other system challenge;
- Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter;
- Responding to breakdowns;
- Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults;
- Repairing equipment and replacing parts;
- Supervising junior engineering and technical staff;
- Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings;
- Checking computer equipment for electrical safety;
- Maintaining records of software licenses;
- Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
Position requirements
- A minimum of bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications
- Graduate with a Minimum score of 70%
- Below 30 years old
- Multi- lingual

- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends

- Ability to work well with people and to deal with difficult callers
- Strong communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills

- Willingness to sometimes work unsociable hours
- Excellent Problem solver with strong Analytical skills
- Patience and logical mind
- Enthusiasm for continual learning
- Oracle technology background or oracle trainings certificates will constitute a key skills for the job
