FINBANK S.A. is looking for a self- motivated, qualified candidate with the right attitude and a passion for IT job to join our team in the following position:

IT support center Officer

IT support / helpdesk Officer helps resolve customers’ technical problems via email, phone call, social media and in person. The candidate works in-house (within the bank) providing support and services to bank staff.

Typical duties include:

  • Logging employee queries and processing support calls;
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners;
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades;
  • Setting up and managing accounts for staff that join, quit or take leaves and ensuring that they know how to log in, log out and change their credentials;
  • Solving password problems and any other system challenge;
  • Talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter;
  • Responding to breakdowns;
  • Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults;
  • Repairing equipment and replacing parts;
  • Supervising junior engineering and technical staff;
  • Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings;
  • Checking computer equipment for electrical safety;
  • Maintaining records of software licenses;
  • Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.

Position requirements

  • A minimum of bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Applications
  • Graduate with a Minimum score of 70%
  • Below 30 years old
  • Multi- lingual

  • Enthusiasm for continual learning
  • Oracle technology background or oracle trainings certificates will constitute a key skills for the job
